Chairside Teeth Whitening

Dr. O’Keefe and our team can perform chairside teeth whitening using the advanced Rembrandt® formula. The peroxide in the bleaching gel can penetrate your enamel and dentin to break stains apart. Meanwhile, the added fluoride helps to fortify your enamel against future stains. This formula also includes medications that reduce tooth sensitivity and keep you comfortable during the whitening session. You can choose between a lower or higher strength bleaching formula, available in fruit or mint flavors.  

When you come in for treatment, we will clean your teeth to prepare for the procedure. Dr. O'Keefe will apply the gel to your teeth for about an hour, and intensify its effects with a special light.

Our Take-home Treatment Kit

We also provide take-home Rembrandt® teeth whitening kits for touch-ups after chairside treatment. They can also be used to achieve an initial whitening. These kits include Rembrandt® bleaching gel, custom-made application trays to properly apply the gel to your teeth, and whitening toothpaste to help you maintain your new smile. To whiten your teeth, you will simply place the bleaching gel within the trays and wear them for the prescribed amount of time each day until your teeth reach the desired amount of whitening. Dr. O’Keefe will carefully explain your at-home treatment and make himself available to answer any questions or concerns that you may have throughout the process.
