"I thought I was asleep"
You can be as relaxed as you wish.
This 9 year old boy was sent to me for IV sedation and endo. The Pedodontist sent him to the Endodontist and because the child was so afraid and unable to cooperate, we worked with an anesthesiologist who administered IV sedation and monitored the child during about a 1 1/ 2 hour procedure to complete a 1 visit endo treatment. All went well.
