Christ Covenant School is being organized as a ministry of Pear Orchard Presbyterian Church, PCA, which is located in Ridgeland, MS, a suburb of the capital city of Jackson. The School will open in the fall of 2002 and will serve Christian families in the education of their covenant children from five year old kindergarten through sixth grade.

Christ Covenant School will be housed in a new educational building currently under construction on the Pear Orchard campus. The Church and the School are strategically located to be able to serve Madison County, Rankin County, and the northeast Jackson area.

The idea and vision of a Christian elementary school began in Pear Orchard Presbyterian Church some three years ago. The vision for a school and the need for additional classroom space for the growing Church family led the Church officers to initiate a capital campaign for the building of a new educational building. With a successful capital campaign and the hiring of a headmaster, the construction of the building and the plans for the School are both well underway.

This website is designed to give you information on Christ Covenant School. Keep in mind that, at this point, the School is still a work in progress. Though we have much information that is definite, there is much still left to be decided. This website will regularly be updated as more information is available.
