Temporary Crowns. Final Crowns
This patient had not been to the dentist for many years because his fear was so great. He is also deaf, has problems with feeling strangled when the dentist tries to care for him. He had no one to care for him after General Anesthesia or Sedation. He chose to enter Surgicare ( an out patient surgical center ) for his dental treatment, spend the night in the center after treatment, then be driven home by a member of our dental office staff the next morning. An anesthesioligist from Anesthesia Consultants administered General Anesthesia.
3 non repairable teeth were extracted
We were prepared to do endo on a molar and bicuspid, but they were not necessary.
Fillings were done.
Full Mouth Debridement, Scaling and Curretage were completed.
6 units of Crowns were accomplished with temporaries, impressions, bite registration and records to mount on an articulator.
The next morning the patient asked my staff member, who picked him up to let him come to the office and smile at us and show us how happy he was with the results.
All of us smiled with him. It was a wonderful exzperience for him and all of us at Dr. O'Keefe's office.
