Mind telling me the detailed sequence you use for apexification?
*C&S, place Ca(OH)2
*change Ca)(OH)2 in one month
*bring pt back for recall at 3 months and take xray.  If no wash out, don't change; if wash out. change the ca(OH)2.
*recall in another 3 months; follow for PA repair and apical closure.
 
*MTA for an apical plug is cool, but you have much more control with a calcific barrier in place.
 
- for strenghten the tooth you are suggesting acid-etch resin in the coronal part of the tooth only? Go 3-5mm below the crest of bone.  Fred.
