New Development in Denture Adhesion
Aesthetic Porcelain Studio and the Multi-Cup Suction Denture
A new, simplified technique for enhancing the retention and stability of complete dentures has been developed. A number of small suction cups (up to 200 for an upper; 150 for a lower) like an "octopus tentacle" are formed from a soft resilient silicone rubber and are processed in a conventional denture. The effect is to gently grip the oral tissue without causing irritation even after prolonged wearing.
- Gives up to 25% additional retention to all complete dentures
- Can be used successful for flat upper & lower ridges
- May be used in new cases or to rebase old dentures
